The Golden Age of Couture

Are your girlfriends coming in and you have no plans? OR do you just want/need an excuse for a girls day? Either way, I devote today's blog to you.

I know that all Studio 615 shoppers know and appreciate great fashion when they come across it; but how would you like to view couture from Paris and London from the years of 1947-1957?

Now that I have piqued your interest: this Frist Center exhibition will transport you back in time to just after WWII. The collection features looks b Christian Dior, Cristobol Balenciaga, Pierre Balman and many others. You'll find examples of daywear, cocktail dresses and evening wear made for royalty.

You do not want to miss this exhibition (which made the HOT LIST in Harper's Bazaar's July issue)!

This exhibit is here in Nashville through September 12. Here is a link to get all the info on this fashionista must see: http://fristcenter.org/site/exhibitions/exhibitiondetail.aspx?cid=795

Don't forget to bring your friends by 615 for great new looks and visit our new shoe store so that you're ready to strut your stuff at the Frist!

Happy Shopping!
